On our travels we’ve found that Getyourguide.com has one the largest databases of experiences, in pretty much every country you might visit, it’s our goto resource, give them a try. Disclosure: we get a really really small, commission on any bookings made through this link, thank you, but you’ll pay exactly the same as you will if you book directly with them.
If you find a site or app like GetYourGuide a little too impersonal for your needs, no problem, below are some of the travel websites and guides that we have either used ourselves or that come recommended. We’ll keep this list updated regularly, and as always, your suggestions are welcomed.
As African safari veterans, these guys able to distinguish what’s hot and what’s not, by regular personal visits to the places that they recommend. Each one has been carefully checked and investigated by their intrepid agents, meaning you can travel with complete peace of mind.
African Welcome Safaris specialises in tailor-making African Safaris and holidays, their expertise includes South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Kenya and Tanzania. I know the owners personally and can really recommend giving Kathi or Alex a call or drop them an email.
The Belize Tourism Board website is filled with useful information about the country, with pretty much everything you need to know. Got to say here that we’ve not yet been to Belize, it’s on our bucket list for “soon”, but it’s a website that we’ve bookmarked and keep on referring back to in the course of our research.
We have to mention up-front that we haven’t used the Mauritius Attractions website, we only came across it recently, but it seems to have loads of useful information. They claim to be the leading attractions, tours and excursions provider in Mauritius, and they do appear to be offering quite an extensive range of attractions.
If you come across a website, or even an app that you think would fit in this list please do drop us an email or message from the contact page, we’re always looking for useful resources for our readers.
